Annual Thompson Camping Trip

It was an eventful trip. One trip to the Emergency Room with Jason. We think he caught a virus or ate something bad and when he started to throw up it was bloody... turns out it was probably just from violent vomiting. But the 2 hour drive to the hospital at 10pm was not so planned. Ended up sleeping the kids on uncle Jake's couch while Jason was in the ER then slept at home that night. Made it back up to the campground in the morning just in time to go to the swim pool at Lava.

I managed to have an allergic reaction to something before we even left home and fought with the itching the whole time. I only broke down and cried once. Still trying to get it to go away and to stop the itching so I can sleep at night, but all in all I think the kids had fun.

My Girl

She is seriously Cute.

She counts like a pro. 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 19, 19...

Loves her some Elmo.  When ever it's her turn to pick a movie it's always Elmo.  Although a new favorite is "princess"  any barbie or princess show will work.

LOVES being big enough to follow Bracken around and play with friends.

"Mean Mom. Homework in Summer?"  Bracken has completed his preschool program with Rusty and Rosy and knows how to read! He is so excited for Kindergarten, but Mom still makes him work on his writing.

Went to Cowabunga Bay for Bracken's Birthday.  He had just completed 2 weeks worth of swim lessons and was able to go around the lazy river with no life jacket and had a blast {it was 3ft deep} he would plug his nose to swim under the water and unplug/let go as soon as he was under.  So much fun.

Planking! He isn't a baby anymore. What happened to curling up and sticking his bum in the air?

My baby boy is 5.  Can you believe it?  Sure do love this guy! 

Mom's disclaimer: If Bracken happens to tell you that his Mom doesn't flush the toilet it's only because he barged in on me freaking out cause he needed to pee and I moved out. Fast. Now for thanks he tells people I don't flush. Thanks buddy.
