What I’m trying to say is that it is not as uncomplicated as it may sound to sit down and waste time {well wasted} sitting in front of the computer, when I could be sitting around the table talking, sitting on the floor playing, laying on the couch watching, being outside playing {or working} or in the car spending time with my boys.
I am so excited for a summer full of time to consume together!
I do have some fun things to share with you before I go back to 'sitting' with them though…
ONE of Bracken's recent phrases is 'Hep-you' meaning one of two different things, he either wants You to help Him OR He would like to help You... in this case he wanted to help Dad make pizza, and he did!
Some of our favorite snacks include Chips and Dip, usually together! Bracken fits right in while we sit around the table and chow. He very much enjoys his 'dip.' {He insists on having it with everything! Whether it be ranch, BBQ sauce, ketchup or cheese!}
Another phrase we hear from Bracken recently is 'I drive' He LOVES to drive. It's been nice that the car hasn't been too toasty warm, and he can go sit in the driveway {with the E-brake on of coarse!} and drive.
Ah, I cannot forget to write down one of the most remarkable experiences I've had in quite some time. My brother {and very great friend} Jake went through the temple this month . It was such a wonderful feeling to be there with him. I will never forget that day. I wasn't having the best of days to begin with but once I was there, none of that seemed to matter and everything was brought into perspective. I hope all of my siblings know how much I love them, but on this day especially Jake.
