Anyhow we were in Phoenix Saturday for the wedding and stayed our 2 nights at the Engelbrecht's (another companion: Jexon and his wife Aubrey) and big Thank-you to them it made it so nice not to have to worry about finding a room and having to pay for it at this time of year!Again on Sunday we drove ALL day with another pit stop in Cedar City where Matt, Bezi and Charliee fed us yummy soup and had presents. It was so fun to see them at Christmas time. They had a present for Bracken, a Big Bird that does Patty Cake, Peek a Boo and This Little Piggy. He loves it, and did immediately... although he was so tired on the way back home he held it tight and slept.
We put up our Christmas tree on the Saturday after Thanksgiving but I procrastinated and never posted about it! I guess I'd rather read a book, but now that it's nearly Christmas here is our family with our tree...
It only took 4 Christmas tree's I didn't like... this year I love my tree! I can't believe this will be our 5th Christmas together (well married!) and our first with Bracken, we are so glad we have him! He is the light in our lives. 6 months old and still not rolling or even moving much at all (well maybe a little) but he does sit very well, although he does bonk his head every now and again, he rarely cries about it!
Well, as far as Christmas cards go this will have to do for the year, maybe next year!Have a Merry Christmas!
