I love this age... most of the time.

Who's kid is that anyway?

This young man put on his snow suit {which is like 3 sizes too small} and winter coat and headed outside the other day.  I know I should have grabbed the camera, as it is AUGUST!  He said he was going to pretend it snowed.

He is obsessed with giants.  He LOVES Mickey and the Beanstalk and Iron Giant.  He watches Iron Giant at least once a day, I put a stop to any more than that!  The other morning he started talking about Coffee and how it makes you crazy.... Thank you Hogarth!

This little man is growing up. He loves to play with friends, play baseball, make cookies with his dad and ride his bike. He is an excellent helper around the house and sometimes screams. Like a girl. ;)

Stuff we will never forget:

• Bracken: "Mom my girlfriend said she won't marry me, who's going to be my princess when I'm king?"

• He spent 20 minutes in the bathroom getting ready to go play with his neighbor friend {a girl} He comes out with water dripping down his face and says "Do I look like Uncle Nick?!" I think he thought the more water he put on his hair the easier it would do what he wanted ;)

•  Says, "oopsa daisy" 

• When he parts his hair and combs it to the side it's called supermanic hair {Superman and Nick have a part}

• I lathered the kiddos with sunscreen before they went out to play... Later when it started to rain Bracken asked for the "rain screen". :)

• Bracken: is it fast offerings today? Mom: no, why? Bracken: why aren't you eating? Mom: I had hot chocolate. Bracken: well you better eat toast or pay money!

•  Likes to say, "when I was little"

Guess Who...

• says 'elcum' whenever you do something for her {instead of Thank You}

• loves to walk on her tip toes, talk on the phone, dance, play with her brother, swim {she is our new found little fish!}

• has quite the extensive vocabulary if you can understand her!

• LOVES babies.  Any movie with a baby is her favorite.   And real babies? She wants to hold them, by herself!

• says, "Moin"  instead of Mine or More.. her own combination.

• is a beautiful bronze baby.  So glad my kids tan and not burn and freckle like me!

• will not rest until she has her "game" if she sees you have the iPad... "game game game game"

• pinches like a pair of pliers.   Bracken has marks on his face to prove it. 

• gets mad. Angry mad and will take it out on whatever is near.  I saw her trying to bite the sliding door the other day and then the floor. Oh, the anxiety!

• is very friendly.  If the neighbors are outside and she can see them at all she will yell hi over and over and over and over, when they respond? She keeps yelling.

• loves her Gra-ga {grandmas}, Gran-ka {grandpas}, and her Gron-key {granny}!

• favorite person is her Aunt Cheyne.  Doesn't matter who is on the phone she asks for her, doesn't matter where we are going she asks for her.  

• loves her beebee {binky}, bleebee {blankie} and beebees {babies}
