I am formally 38 weeks! Anytime he'd like to make his entrance into this world would be just fine with me, but alas he appears comfortable.
Everything looked fine at my weekly appointment, no protein in my urine, my blood pressure looked good, and my weight went down 2 lbs! Which the doc said is completely normal at this point.
I am still 70% effaced and only dilated to a 2, so not much change going on as of yet.
I am feeling very round and very, very ready to meet this little guy... can't wait to hold him already! He's about worn out his welcome within me.
The doctor did say she would issue an eviction notice for him… so there WILL BE an end to all this waiting. We are NOT waiting more than one week past the due date so he WILL be born (by his own choice or by forced evacuation) by July 5th.
So hopefully I will get to meet the little man before my next appointment on Monday, but alas if he decides not to come, I will try and keep you all updated…
As for the house buying bit, I am so tired of it. It looks like we should close on Thursday and be able to start cleaning and painting on Friday or Saturday... worse case scenario Monday… I would give all the details but they are no fun, and just stresses me out… there is just so much going on! I think I need a nap…

Any Day (Or Week) Now...
37 weeks and counting... I have to say I am a little tired of coming in to work and people asking how many more days or exclaiming that I still haven't had this baby, better yet, when they just say "wow" and stare. They make me feel like I have been pregnant for way too long.. come on guys he still has 2 weeks! (although the Doc did say I was dilated to a 2 and 70% effaced) So he could come in a couple days.. or a couple weeks.
Here are some 37 week belly pics...

Our First House
So.. the time has come, we are buying our first house! Pretty exciting stuff. Quite the year for us, with all of these milestones happening so close together! Jason graduating, getting the job at Mt Logan, buying a house and having a baby! We should close on June 19th, we want to clean, strip wall paper and paint before we move in and with a baby coming sometime soon...(check back for my Dr's appointment update later today!) who knows when what will happen!
The details on the home: it is a 2100 sq ft 1997 rambler with 5 bedrooms & 2 baths (3 bedrooms upstairs & 1 bath upstairs and 2 bedrooms & 1 bath in the basement) on .25 acre in Hyrum.
Here's a quick look at the view from the road as you drive by...

and that would be my younger brother Nick out front, doing a very thorough check of the lawn, my mom & dad and brothers helped us do the first inspection, Thanks so much guys! (and a thank you to Jake for manning the camera as well!)
Just cause I never have a picture of him, here's a close up of Nick!

Of Men & Sewing Machines
Believe it or not... some men (mine in particular) sew!
I have to admit I am a little afraid of the sewing machine, especially when I feel like I have to perform, and Jason likes to watch so I would have had an audience and well I wasn't up for it.. So he took over :) I am so proud! He can now brag about building the crib AND making the fitted sheets for it, although he doesn’t (brag) I will do it for him...

See my man at work!
